I realized a new season approached my rearview the moment I caught wind of my sinuses wanting to act a fool and the oversized bees I know to stay far away from. I love Spring for the beautiful fruition of fresh colors in the scenery and smell of distant sunlight. It's a bonus for me being born this season which most refer to as the season of new beginnings and fresh starts.
I've been making it my mission to de-clutter my not so visibly cluttered space to live a more holistic and minimal lifestyle for 2015.
My closet has been the toughest to get through since I have an obsession with keeping clothes I no longer wear. I'll share my struggle with that some other time. My favorite and third most prized collection - (nail polish being the second) -would have to be my sunglasses. I kind of just collect what I like and not wear them .... (don't judge).
I'm determined to get some more wear out of a few favorites of mines for Spring and of course, Summer. Many I purchase years ago and left to catch closet darkness until recently.
THE MJn ON 'EM AVIATORS
These have to be a classic fave of mines. I fell in love with them and have always wanted a pair since Michael Jackson used to have MANY. These were purchased a couple years back at one of those sunglass stands in my local mall ...

Lol - okay so obviously these are knock offs but whatever. I definitely just made up that name too! The authentic RayBans are the lovely shades we often see celebs rocking to signify how above the average human lifestyle they are in. I purchased these babies from Retro City Sunglasses about 4 years ago.

THE FIERCE EARTHA KITTS
I don't know about you but it's something that just screams "I can do whatever the hell I please" whenever I see cat eye sunglasses. The late and great Eartha Kitt becomes my inner alter ego in these. Purchased from RetroCity Sunglasses 4 years ago as well.

THE INCOGNITO CHIC
If you don't have that one pair of sunglasses that just sets the tone of a "low down dirty shame" character - where have you been? Whenever I have to go out but want to be left alone or give that don't even say hello vibe, I'll be grabbing these. That feeling of being mysterious is always a great way to spark curiosity in others. I got these 4 years ago from RetroCity Sunglasses.

Get it? Yes, that's my nickname in case you didn't know - pronounced as "Knee-yo". Again, cat eye frames always tend to bring out that extra fierceness for some reason. I'm pretty sure I'd have to serve up Hollywood glam in these. Purchased from RetroCity Sunglasses.

WHAT PERSONALITY ABOVE ARE YOU MOST PRONE TO BEING THIS SPRING/SUMMER SEASONS?
The personality I'll be more prone to, is "The Breakfast At Nieyo's" I LOVE cat eye frames!! They're so chic. I want to get some in a cream color before summer hits.

DeleteYou will get no criticism from me on the amount of sunnies you own. There's no way you should have just one pair :) I would have to go with Incognito Chic- the bigger the sunglasses, the better. Also, I like my shades very dark with a slight tint up top.

DeleteNeosha!!!! I died at the "MJn on em"! And I will probably be rocking them the most this summer. Plus they make me feel very Miami Vice'ish. I have been on the hunt for the perfect CatEye pair of shades and I think once I do find them, I may call that personality the "She, Me, Her". Def going to check out RetroCity I heard a few people mention them before.

DeleteI can't rock cat-eye sunnies. I tried and they look horrible on me, in my opinion. I love a good pair of aviators though. I hope you do the outfits to go with each pair of sunnies. That would be cool!

I'll always choose aviators over the cat-eyes any day - they're more laid back, which is how my days usually are. I'm piecing together ideas for the future as of late.
